EBS is the main terminal operator in the Antwerp-Rotterdam-Hamburg range for handling and storage of biomass products. Examples are the handling and storage of wood pellets, a product which is used for cofiring with coal in power plants.

EBS invests in dedicated dust-control and temperature controlled storage facilities. We work with special quality and monitoring procedures to ensure that no product deterioration takes place such as self-heating and off-gassing.

 

Rotterdam is the main bio-fuel processing and transhipment port.

EBS focuses on the handling and storage of raw materials and residues from the bio-fuel market (such as biodiesels and bio-ethanol).

EBS offers:

  1. Transshipment and weighing services from very large bulk carriers into smaller vessels and river barges.
  2. Silo and shed storage.
  3. Reloading from silo on trucks and railwagons.
  4. Reloading from silo into river barges, coasters and large vessels upto 16.50 metres draft.
