E.B.S. is the main terminal operator in the Antwerp-Rotterdam-Hamburg range for handling and storage of biomass products. Examples are the handling and storage of woodpellets, a product which is used for co-firing with coal in power plants.

E.B.S. invested in dedicated dust-control and temperature controlled storage facilities. We work with special quality and monitoring procedures to ensure that no product deterioration takes place such as self-heating and off-gassing.

 

Rotterdam will be the main bio-fuel processing and transhipment port.

E.B.S. is focussed on the bio-fuel markets like biodiesels and bio-ethanol to handle and store its raw materials and residues.

E.B.S. offers:

  1. Transshipment and weighing services from very large bulk carriers into smaller vessels and river barges.
  2. Silo and shed storage.
  3. Reloading from silo on trucks and railwagons.
  4. Reloading from silo into river barges, coasters and large vessels upto 16.50 metres draft.
